In April of 2020 I had a total thyroidectomy and a right neck dissection. I was diagnosed with hurthle cell carcinoma. In July of 2020 I had a high dose of RAI. After metastasis to my lungs and lymph nodes and a lot of testing, it was recently determined that I was misdiagnosed with HCC. I have malignant pecoma, a type of sarcoma that is extremely rare.
