LID recipe: chocolate chia pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lid approved almond milk (check out our almond milk recipe)
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 tb pure maple syrup
  • 2 tb unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings:

  • fresh berries
  • un-salted nuts
  • dairy free chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together and pour into two small jars
  2. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight
  3. Mix well after refrigerating to break up any clumps
  4. Layer with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes:

  • Sprinkle some non iodized/non sea salt on top for added flavor!
  • A great dessert or breakfast option
