LID recipe: berry smoothie bowl

Sweeten up your morning with some fruits and hidden veggies 🥕 (promise you won’t taste them) and have some fun with the toppings!! You can use your homemade almond milk for this one 😉
Fun Fact: Blueberries 🫐 are believed to have the highest antioxidant levels of all common fruits 🍎 & vegetables 🥦

Recipe card

Serving size: 1

Bowl ingredients:

  • 1/2 Frozen Banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • handful of spinach
  • 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower
  • 1 cup almond milk

Toppings:

  • raspberries
  • blackberries
  • raw nuts
  • hemp hearts
  • chia seeds
  • unsalted peanut/almond butter

Directions:

  1. Put all bowl ingredients into a blender
  2. Add more milk according to desired consistency
  3. Top with your favorite toppings
  4. Enjoy!

Notes:

  • Cut the banana into slices so it is easier to blend
  • Can use cauliflower rice or florets and promise you can’t taste them 🙂
  • Can use unsalted peanut butter or almond butter as a topping
